Swedish household spending on moving images rises 24% year on year in Q3

The average Swedish household spent approximately SEK 330 per month on moving images in the third quarter, according to consultancy Mediavision. This was a 24 percent increase from SEK 289 in Q3 2017. It attributes the rise to viewers keeping the traditional pay-TV subscription going while adding video streaming services, as household expenditure on SvoD has risen by nearly 50 percent over the past year.
