Swedish mobile voice prices down 15% in 1 year, 65% in 7 yrs

Swedish postal and telecommunications regulator PTS said between the first quarter of 2011 and the first quarter of 2012, the price of the cheapest mobile voice service fell by 15 percent for the average user. In its 48-page report 'Price developments in mobile telephony and broadband', the watchdog said that in the past seven years, mobile voice costs have declined by 65 percent. Hidden costs remain, though: Mobile voice calls used to be metered by the second generally, whereas now, they are charged by the minute. This means that a a call lasting 1.01 minutes is rounded up to 2 minutes and
