Swedish PTS proposes scrapping geographic number dependency

The Swedish postal and telecoms regulator, PTS, is proposing to allow geographic dialling codes to be used anywhere in Sweden, including on mobile networks. The deadline to respond to the idea is 12 July. Currently, using a local dialling code in another area is not allowed under the PTS numbering plan, but the change is designed to make numbering more flexible.
