Swedish public internet access project DigidelCenter gets funding bids from 50 local councils

Swedish internet foundation IIS said that more than 50 borough councils nationwide have applied for funding to open a DigidelCenter, offering local residents assistance help with IT and using the internet. IIS said it is beginning its selection procedure and will provide financing to up to ten councils before the end of the year.
