Swedish radio permit approvals take longer on security grounds

Swedish communications regulator PTS said it will take longer to process radio permits in future because of legislative changes aimed at strengthening Sweden's security. Checking permit applications will take at least two or three weeks longer than before. From the beginning of 2020, the watchdog is coordinating with the Security Police (Sapo) and Armed Forces over permit approvals.
