Swedish report recommends 100 special relay nodes to keep critical websites going during crises

Swedish communications regulator PTS has published a report on the pilot project aiming to boost the resilience of critical public service websites to DDoS attacks and other disruption. The project was done by the Swedish University Computer Network (Sunet) and infrastructure provider Netnod, belonging to non-profit telematics development foundation TU-stiftelsen. It recommends the provision of approximately 100 special relay nodes at distances of 50-70 km to make infrastructure more robust.
