Swedish social media use rises 8 percent to 79% of population in 2018

Social media use is more popular than ever before in Sweden, with four out of five Swedes (79%) using social media on an average day in Q4 2018, according to consultancy Mediavision. Usage increased by 8 percent compared with 2017, although video viewing via social media remained stable at 64 percent (63%) of users. Watching video on social networks could see an upswing in 2019, it added.
