Swedish subscriptions for broadband at 100 Mbps or more rise 31% in H1

The number of subscriptions for broadband at 100 Mbps or faster rose by 31 percent to 2.4 million in the first half of 2017, according to Swedish telecoms regulator PTS. In its report for the first six months of the year, based on statistics sent in by operators, it said the number of fibre subscriptions climbed by 18 percent to 2.16 million. Fibre made up 58 percent of all fixed broadband contracts.
