Swedish TV market expands by 8% in 2018 to SEK 25.3 billion

Swedish consultancy Mediavision estimates that Sweden's television market was worth SEK 25.3 billion altogether in 2018, taking into account pay-TV, advertising, distribution and licence fees combined. This was a rise of 8 percent year on year from SEK 23.4 billion in 2017. It said SVoD accounted for SEK 3.8 billion in 2018, up from SEK 2.7 billion in 2017.
