Swedish watchdog probes possible security breach by central medical information service

The Swedish Data Protection Authority has reacted to reports in the mass media concerning the central medical information service, 1177 Vardguiden. Reports have claimed that a large number of recorded phone calls to the system have gone online and are freely accessible. The authority said it will look into the reports that conversations have been placed on a web server with no password or other kind of protection.
