Swico expects IoT investments to pick up in 2021

Swiss ICT association Swico said that, based on its Swico House View for 2021, it expects investments to grow this year in particular in the field of Internet of Things. Other important technology trends worldwide and in Switzerland are in augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mixed Reality (MR), blockchain and cognitive computing, it said. Swico expects that by the end of 2021 around 5 percent of total investments in the Swiss ICT market will flow into AR, VR and MR.
