Swico opposes proposed internet barriers

As the Swiss government considers introducing limits on foreign gambling sites, ICT federation Swico has warned against internet lock-outs. The Committee for Legal Affairs of the Swiss National Council is currently debating a bill on internet gambling which proposes requiring ISPs to block foreign gambling sites. Swico argued against the introduction of any kind of internet barrier, warning the approach could jeopardise online security and the digital economy.
