Swiss consumers could save CHF 1.7 bln on mobile costs

Swiss consumers have spent CHF 1.7 billion too much on their mobile phone use, according to a study by Swiss online comparison portal Comparis.ch. Taking the low-cost prepaid offers out of the equitation, Swiss consumers could still save CHF 1.5 billion per year on mobile phone use. The study is based on a survey among 5,900 Swiss mobile users and found that 50 percent of the consumers paying the least use Aldi Talk followed by Coop Mobile and the first postpaid service Orange Me came third with 11 percent.
