Swiss Digital Society goes to court to oppose data retention

Digital Society Switzerland said the Postal and Telecommunications Surveillance Service (DUPF) rejected its petition for data retention to be discontinued on 30 June and it will now turn to the Federal Administrative Court. If necessary, it will pursue the matter in the European Court for Human Rights. The society considers storing customer information to be unlawful and disproportionate.
