Swiss industry says data retention to end free public WLAN

Swiss internet association Digitale Gesellschaft said that new laws on telecoms surveillance will mean an end to free Wi-Fi access. It referred to articles that appeared on 12 April in the newspapers BaslerZeitung, Tages-Anzeiger and NZZ. On its website, the justice department stipulates that this is not the case.
