Swiss m-payment systems Paymit, Twint agree merger

The five Swiss banks Credit Suisse, PostFinance, Raiffeisen, UBS and ZKB, Six Payment Services as well as the retailers Coop and Migros and Swisscom have agreed on a joint mobile payment system combining the existing solutions Paymit and Twint.
