Swiss mobile payments grow, average value is CHF 38 - study

Mobile payment use is growing in Switzerland since the introduction of Apple Pay 100 days ago, according to Swiss credit card provider Bonuscard's Mobile Payment Barometer based on usage figures from its own customer base. Several thousand Bonuscard customers are using mobile payment every day and Bonuscard sees an average growth of 14 percent more registered users for mobile payments per week, while the weekly transactions per device have grown sevenfold in the same time. Other figures provided by Bonuscard include that 43 percent of mobile payments have a value between CHF 10 and CHF 50 and
