Swiss MPs oppose e-voting, want better security, lower costs

Swiss MPs Marcel Dobler and Franz Gruter, who act as President and Vice-President, respectively, of the industry association ICTswitzerland, want to suspend the country-wide implementation of e-voting, reported inside-it.ch. They argue that implementation will bring security risk and high costs. The proposal of a ten-year moratorium on the implementation of e-voting is a private initiative of the MPs; the association does not have a joint position on the matter.
