Swiss parliament approves legal framework for Covid-19 tracing app use

The Swiss Parliament has approved the legal framework to launch the Covid-19 tracing app. The app has been developed by the federal government and by Zurich-based digital agency Ubique in cooperation with the Office of Public Health, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology ETH and the EPFL to help detect chains of contagion and to warn people if they have had contact with an infected person for a long period of time.
