Friday 20 October 2017 | 10:24 CET | News
From 2019, the Swiss TV and radio licence fee will be CHF 365 a year, or CHF 1 per day, reported swissinfo.ch. The fee will be paid by every household in Switzerland, irrespective of whether they have a receiver or not. The Federal Council has set the date for the voting on the so-called No Billag Initiative, seeking to cancel the radio and television licence fees. Public voting will take place on 04 March 2018.
