Swisscom delivers UCC as managed service to hospital

Swisscom's Enterprise Customers division will deliver a unified communications and collaboration (UCC) system for the Spital STS hospital in Thun as a managed service. Communication ranging from telephony to alarming and patient information is being converted to an IP-based platform from Swisscom. The Swisscom UCC platform is supported by mobile devices supplied by Ascom.
