Swisscom Q1 net revenue dips 0.9 percent lower

Swisscom's operating results were within expectations in the first quarter. Revenue fell by 0.9 percent to CHF 2.86 billion. EBITDA increased by 5.8 percent year-on-year to CHF 1.12 billion, affected by the application of new requirements for the recognition of leases (IFRS 16). The EBITDA margin was up by 2.4 percentage points to 39.1 percent. Net income increased by 1.1 percent to CHF 383 million. The financial outlook for the 2019 financial year remains unchanged.
