Swisscom selects Ascom to validate LTE network

Global broadband mobile testing company Ascom Network Testing has secured a CHF 1.2 million contract from Swisscom to validate LTE network service quality. As part of its nationwide LTE rollout programme, Swisscom has selected Ascom to provide an upgrade of its existing benchmarking and network quality of service monitoring. The contract is part of a network overhaul initiated by Swisscom to handle future growth in mobile data transmission.
