Swisscom tests NG.fast upgrade with Huawei

Swisscom announced that it has been testing since August multiline NG.fast with vectoring as one of the first operators globally. The network upgrade reached speeds up to 5 Gbps in its laboratories in cooperation with Huawei. The technology is based on a combination of short copper wires and fibre-optic cables.
