Swisscom to build Health Shared Service Centre for Sanitas

Thursday 16 April 2015 | 13:56 CET | News
Swiss health insurance company Sanitas is examining whether to outsource an essential part of its information technology services to Swisscom, ITreseller.ch reports. This would involve the transactions-oriented core IT as well as the construction of a so-called Health Shared Service Centre with Sanitas as its first customer. The purpose of the outsourcing is to make the development dimension more flexible and to standardise transaction processes. Negotiations will take place in the coming weeks before Sanitas takes a final decision.
