Swisscom to launch Tapit m-payment service in July

Swisscom will launch a new mobile payment service called 'Tapit' on 01 July, reports Blick.ch. This will allow users to pay for things using their smartphones using NFC technology. Swisscom announced the project in autumn 2013, and is understood to have now brought rival mobile operators Orange and Sunrise on board.
