Switzerland to apply new TV licence system from January

Wednesday 24 October 2018 | 17:00 CET | News
Switzerland will implement the new system of radio and TV fees collection from 1 January 2019, the communications regulator Bakom announced. The agency Serafe will collect the fees for households, replacing Billag. In 2019, invoicing will be carried out in two stages so that, as from 2020, the dispatch of invoices can be distributed evenly over the entire calendar year.
