Syntec sees return to growth in French IT job market

The French IT sector is expected to make 35,000 new hires this year, 10 percent more than in 2013, according to IT services and software industry association Syntec Numerique. The net job creation will be higher than last year, said the body's president, Gui Mamou-Mani. In 2012, there were 7,000 jobs created, net, slightly fewer than in 2013. Software publishers and IT services providers employ 365,000 people, including 265,000 computer specialists.
