T-Mobile Austria puts digital signature on e-mail bills

Tuesday 18 August 2015 | 12:59 CET | News
T-Mobile Austria has announced it will send all the e-mail bills for T-Mobile and tele.ring customers exclusively with a digital signature as a measure against the increase in phishing mails. The digital signature confirms the legitimacy of the email, and can be recognised by a symbol in the email programme. By clicking on the symbol, additional information regarding the digital signature and the sender of the email are displayed. Some smartphone models require manual activation in the respective e-mail settings, while some do not support the digital signature.
