T-Mobile Austria revenues down 4.4% in Q2

T-Mobile Austria reported a 4.4 percent annual decrease in revenues in the second quarter to EUR 217 million. Adjusted EBITDA dropped to EUR 53 million from EUR 68 million a year ago. The negative results were due to regulatory effects and growing competition, the mobile operator said. The customer base numbered 4.069 million at the end of June, unchanged from three months earlier and up 4.9 percent year-on-year. A loss of 5,000 contract customers in the quarter was offset by growth of 5,000 in the prepaid market. T-Mobile's ARPU fell to EUR 16 in Q2, from EUR 17 in Q1 and EUR 19 a year ago,
