T-Mobile Austria to charge pro rata service fee from 2015

Monday 8 September 2014 | 13:14 CET | News
T-Mobile Austria said from the beginning of 2015, it will only charge annual service fees on a pro rata basis, when customers cancel their contract. This follows a Supreme Court ruling. For instance, where the service fee is due in January and a customer gives notice to quit their contract at the end of June after minimum contract period expiry, T-Mobile will only charge half the sum due. The new ruling will also apply to Tele.ring customers from next year.
