T-Mobile leads mobile purchase experience survey, Amazon gaining ground

US consumers are turning more to e-commerce sites to buy their smartphones, as these provide a better perceived experience than mobile operator shops, research by JD Power has found. The percentage of device purchases made via carrier websites and overall level of customer satisfaction with those purchases has declined since January, while phones bought on Amazon increased by 3 percentage points during the same period.
