T-Mobile UK cuts mobile broadband fair use to 500 MB

Tuesday 11 January 2011 | 11:02 CET | News
T-Mobile UK is trying to dissuade customers from using their mobile internet for downloading, streaming and watching video clips. In a statement on its website, T-Mobile said that it would be aligning its fair use policies so that its mobile internet service will have a fair use of 500 MB per month, with effect from 01 February. The statement added that its mobile broadband service is best used for browsing - which means looking at websites and checking e-mail, not watching videos, downloading files or playing games.
