T-Mobile, University of Kansas to explore how 5G can improve nurses training

T-Mobile US has started a 5G research partnership with the University of Kansas, with a particular focus on the future of nursing. The operator, the Kansas University School of Nursing and Kansas Center for Design Research have teamed up through a Capstone Research Project to help students develop new training methods and tools for teaching nursing. The idea will be harness augmented and virtual reality, artificial intelligence, robotics and other technologies to improve how healthcare workers are trained and to improve care in general.
