T-Mobile US, STC Kuwait tie for 5G availability in H1 in OpenSignal awards

OpenSignal, the independent researcher of mobile networks, has announced the publication of its first ever 5G Global Awards. It compared users' experience of 5G networks during the first half of 2021 in the five categories availability, download speed, upload speed, games service and video service. In the availability category, T-Mobile US and STC Kuwait tied for first place with scores of 35.7 percent and 33.6 percent respectively, as users spent more than one third of the time on their networks with an active 5G connection.
