T-Systems and Verdi fail to reach agreement in first round of wage bargaining

Deutsche Telekom's corporate customer subsidiary T-Systems and the German services union Verdi failed to reach an agreement on annual age increases in their first round of collective bargaining negotiations, reported German business publication WirtschaftsWoche (WiWo). T-Systems has not yet put forth a concrete offer, although Verdi said it was expecting a "good offer" from the company following the conclusion of the first negotiations in Bonn.
