T-Systems order intake up 33% in Q1 to EUR 2.1 billion

Deutsche Telekom's Systems Solutions division, T-Systems, has reported order entry of EUR 2.1 billion for Q1 2013, up 33 percent from EUR 1.18 billion in Q1 2012. This was due to agreements with EADS and the Swiss National Railways (SBB) as well as numerous deals for cloud services. Total revenue reached EUR 2.32 billion, down 5.6 percent from EUR 2.45 billion. External revenues remained almost stable at EUR 1.6 billion. It reported EBITDA of EUR 115 million, up 18.6 percent from EUR 97 million, and adjusted EBITDA of EUR 175 million, up 23.2 percent from EUR 142 million.
