Tablet market declines 5.4% in third quarter - IDC

Tablet shipments decreased 5.4 percent in Q3 to about 40 million units, marking the twelfth consecutive quarter of annual decline, according to preliminary data from the International Data (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Tablet Tracker. Apple remains ahead of the pack with 10.3 million shipped units, ahead of Samsung with 6 million, Amazon.com with 4.4 million, Huawei with 3.0 million, Lenovo with 3 million and others with 13.3 million.
