TalkTalk buys out Sky stake in York fibre joint venture

TalkTalk said it is to buy out Sky's stake in their joint venture with CityFibre to roll out a 1 Gbps fibre-optic network in the city of York. The company said the network will cover the majority of addresses in York over the next 18 months following an initial trial at a cost of GBP 20 million to TalkTalk.
