TalkTalk loses 9,000 broadband subscribers in Q1

TalkTalk Telecom Group has issued a trading update for its FY 2017 first-quarter to 30 June. Trading in Q1 was in line with expectations, with Q1 revenues flat year-on-year (-0.4%). On-net revenues were down 2 percent as expected, reflecting the smaller average on-net base in the quarter. Corporate revenue increased by 7.5 percent with strong growth in Data (+38.5%) and Carrier revenues (+40%) helping offset a legacy voice decline of 31 percent.
