TalkTalk places last again in Which broadband survey, Sky drops

Zen Internet has emerged again as the best broadband provider in the UK, while TalkTalk was rated worst in the survey by consumer group Which?. More than nine in ten Zen customers said they would recommend the provider to friends or family.

Zen's overal customer score in the survey was 85 out of 100. Utility Warehouse came second with a score of 76 percent, and 88 percent of its customers said the service was 'excellent' or good value for money'. 

Next in the rankings came SSE (68%), John Lewis (66%) and Plusnet (63%). The bigger ISPs scored less well in the survey, with Virgin Media at 54 percent, EE at 53 percent, Vodafone at 49 percent and market leader BT at 46 percent. 

Sky showed a notable drop to 11th place from 8th in Which's last survey in March. Its customer score was only 45 percent. TalkTalk came 12th and last (40%), with over a fifth of its customers deeming the service 'poor' or 'very poor'.
