TalkTalk reiterates FY guidance despite lower revenues in Q1

UK operator TalkTalk provided a market update, saying first quarter trading is in line with expectations and that it has added a net 20,000 customers, with growth at both Consumer and Wholesale. The year before, customer numbers had declined by 9,000. The company reiterated its full year guidance for EBITDA at GBP 270-300 million despite group revenue (minus Carrier) falling 3.2 percent. Gains at Corporate and Wholesale were offset by a decline at Consumer on the back of a smaller average on-net base and the dilutive effect of re-contracting activity.
