Friday 3 May 2019 | 10:57 CET | News
Swiss media company Tamedia has invested in the fintech company Neon, offering banking services in the form of a mobile application. After paperless registration using personal identification, the user gets access to a bank account without a standing charge, and receives a free Mastercard. The account is with the mortgage bank Lenzburg and thus offers deposit insurance. Neon's four founders have many years of experience in the banking sector. The company employs a total of ten people in Zurich and Munich.
