Tampnet enables Inmarsat to offer Fleet LTE with hybrid back-up

Tampnet said it has signed an agreement enabling Inmarsat to extend its service portfolio for customers by launching Fleet LTE. It makes low latency, high data speed communications available via a dedicated Access Point Name (APN) on the Tampnet North Sea LTE network. Customers will be able to access high speed 4G and Fleet Xpress VSAT Ka-band and continuous L-band connectivity in one, fully managed hybrid package.
