Tango revenue down 3.5% to EUR 28 million in Q1

Belgacom mobile subsidiary Tango Luxembourg reported revenue down 3.5 percent to EUR 28 million in the first quarter, compared with the first quarter of 2013. Excluding the impact of a cut to the mobile termination rate, the operator's revenue rose by 5.5 percent over the same period. The number of active mobile customers rose by 2.5 percent to 280,500 at the end of March from 273,000 a year earlier. It added 1,000 mobile customers in the latest quarter. Mobile ARPU declined by 8.4 percent to EUR 27.60 a month in the first quarter from EUR 30.10 in the first quarter of 2013. Tango said the
