Tango's Q2 revenue down 3.7%

Luxembourg fixed and mobile operator Tango reported a 3.7 percent drop in revenue for the second quarter to EUR 30 million, driven by lower handset sales and the impact of roaming price reductions. In the same period, blended mobile ARPU declined by 3.9 percent to EUR 28.2. The operator's active customer base decreased by 2.1 percent year-on-year to 281,000 at the end of June, negatively impacted by the ongoing deactivation of unregistered prepaid SIM cards, as part of the country's anti-terrorism measures.
