Tanzania government works on mobile money interoperability

The Tanzanian government wants all telecommunication companies to register their mobile money transactions with the National Switch, as it seeks to bring in interoperability among operators, reports The Citizen. Reports say some telecoms companies have been reluctant to connect TTCL Pesa and HaloPesa to an interoperable platform through a bilateral arrangement.
