Tanzania to review rules on Sim card registration

The Tanzanian government is working to modify the methodology used in mobile Sim card registration, particularly in identity verification, in an effort to curb fraud. Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) Corporate Communications Manager, Innocent Mungy admitted that there are challenges facing Sim Card registration. He said the TCRA will address the issues, The Citizen reported.
