Tanzanian mobile subscriptions fall by 386,586 in December

Tanzania's mobile phone subscribers dropped by 386,586 from November to December 2016 as operators maintained their market share positions in the fourth quarter of the year. According to Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) statistics, subscription numbers dropped from 40.56 million in November to 40.17 million in December, snapping a rising trend from July's figure of 39.63 million, the Daily News reported.
