Tata Communications' quarterly EBITDA grows 26%, profit jumps 236%

Tata Communications posted consolidated revenue of INR 44.03 billion in its fiscal first quarter ended 30 June 2020, which represents a growth of 5.6 percent year-on-year, on the back of continued strong performance in the Data business. Fourth-quarter EBITDA stood at INR 10.42 billion, up 26.2 year-on-year. Tata turned to net profit of INR 2.58 billion in the June quarter, from a loss of INR 2.75 billion in the previous quarter. Year-on-year, quarterly profit jumped 236 percent from INR 770 million in the three months to 30 June 2019.
